Dominika Žáková (1988) has graduated in painting in studio IV. at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. In her work she focuses mostly on the theory of colors – in her painting practice and also on lectures and workshops. She enjoys blurring the line between free art creation and applied design. After she graduated college she managed Dunaj gallery. This space was supposed to bring the art of the young generation closer to their peers.
Dominika is a very successful and talented artist. We are so happy to have her on Pucle, with her artwork Dream Map. “Dream Map can be Rorschach test, view from a starship, submarine, imaginary world map, or look into a microscope. Or everything at the same time.“
