Maja Säfström

Maja Säfström (1987) – M A J A S B O K is an illustrator, writer and former architect who often includes witty humor in her drawings. Her well-known books about animals, such as the Illustrated Atlas of the Most Wonderful Prehistoric Animals, have also been translated into Slovak and are a great success in our country. “I often work in a black and white combination, which is a natural choice for me. I like to replace colors with interesting details and add an important point. In this case, I used my life motto: I’m not lazy, I just don’t enjoy doing boring things. What a fitting sentence for someone who likes to do puzzles!”
