Lukáš Cehľár
Lukáš Cehľár (1990) is an illustrator, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, a studio of free graphics and illustration under the guidance of prof. Dušan Kállay. His work, based on drawing, is based on traditional graphic techniques, mainly linocut. For Pucle, he contributes his black and white linocut – The loop.
“This large-format graphic depicts a constant cycle, an endless closed labyrinth in which we endlessly get lost and find ourselves again. It is inspired by a children’s carpet, aimed especially at playful adults who will recognize many of the buildings shown and have certainly gotten lost in them a few times.”
