Martu Hlavajová

Marta Hlavajová (1988) graduated from the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, majoring in art education. After school, it took place in Žilinská Stanica-Záriečie. She currently lives and works in Prague. She is a lecturer of art workshops and in her spare time she is engaged in illustration. ou can recognize her illustrations mainly from the collaboration from the feminist newsletter Kurník.

“The drawing for Pucle was created during the summer days, so everything that I like and that I associate with summer naturally got into it. The chicken coop influences my work, and since I am identified with it, it naturally comes into my free illustrations. Girl power carries a subtle message of freedom of thought.”
